The first table below presents the weighted student response and exclusion rates for the long-term trend reading assessment by school type (public, Catholic, non-Catholic private) and age group. The weighted response rates utilize the student base weights, and indicate the weighted percentage of assessed students as a percentage of all students to be assessed. The exclusion rates give the weighted percentage of excluded students with disabilities (SD) or excluded English language learners (ELL) as a percentage of all absent, assessed, and excluded students.
School type | Age 9 | Age 13 | Age 17 | ||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Weighted student response rates | Weighted percentage of all students who are SD and excluded | Weighted percentage of all students who are ELL and excluded | Weighted student response rates | Weighted percentage of all students who are SD and excluded | Weighted percentage of all students who are ELL and excluded | Weighted student response rates | Weighted percentage of all students who are SD and excluded | Weighted percentage of all students who are ELL and excluded | |
# Rounds to zero. NOTE: Since students can be both SD (students with disabilities) and ELL (English language learners), the rates may sum to more than 100 percent.
