NAEP Analysis and Scaling → Estimation of NAEP Score Scales → NAEP Scales → Correlations Among NAEP Subject Area Subscales → Marginal Correlations of the Subscales, Mathematics Combined National and State Assessments, by Grade: 2011

NAEP Technical DocumentationMarginal correlations of the subscales, mathematics combined national and state assessments, by grade: 2011
Grade Scale Number sense, properties, and operations Measurement Geometry and spatial sense Data analysis, statistics, and probability Algebra and functions
§ These cells do not display data because this is a correlation matrix. Information is shown for the lower triangle only to eliminate redundant information.
NOTE: For 2011, grade 12 was not assessed. Tabled values were obtained by computing a separate correlation coefficient for each plausible value, computing Fisher’s z-transformation for each value, computing the average of the transformed values, and computing the inverse transformation.
