The table below shows counts of respondents and nonrespondents before and after substitution for fourth and eighth grade science bridge and pilot studies. For both fourth and eighth grade, only two cooperating substitute schools replaced originally nonresponding schools.
The tables include unweighted counts and percentages, and weighted counts and percentages using the school base weight times the estimated grade enrollment. In all cases, the response rates were very high for a voluntary survey.
