The school nonresponse adjustments (Computation of School Nonresponse Adjustments) were fully replicated. The replicate school nonresponse adjustments were computed as follows for each nonresponse weighting cell c (within each jurisdiction):

Sc is the set of sampled schools;

Rc is the set of responding schools;

ws(r) is the replicated school base weight (see Computation of Replicate School Base Weights);

TRIMs is the trimming factor (see Computation of New School Base Weights);

xs is the school enrollment; and
-
SUBADJs is an adjustment for differences between a substitute school's enrollment and the original school's enrollment (see School Base Weights for Substitute Schools).
The replicate adjustments are designed to produce variance estimates which reflect the component of variability added by the nonresponse adjustment process.
