It is important in every assessment cycle to achieve the best possible student-teacher data match rate. In the paper-based and digitally based assessment, the school ID and a teacher ID recorded either on the paper student booklet cover or in the digitally based system is matched to either a paper teacher questionnaire or one completed in the online questionnaire system.
Student booklets that were not matched to a teacher questionnaire were cross-referenced with the corresponding administration data to verify (and change, if necessary).
In 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016 no teacher questionnaires were administered.
